If you want to swim faster and move pain-free...YOU NEED TO STRETCH!! Because at the end of the day, you swim faster by moving more water, not by moving your arms faster. In order to move more water, you MUST have good technique, reach far, and keep a stable body alignment which all comes down to your flexibility and core strength.
